A Journey from suffering to
happiness……
Recall your childhood, Try and catch a few glimpses of yourself.
Who were you? A fearless and curious soul that is full of life, innocence and
love. You were connected to your true self. You were an enlightened pure soul.
In fact you were in the purest version of what God created you as. You weren’t afraid to dream big. Flying high
up in the air and reach for the stars was never impossible.
Life kept rushing and you grew up a wise person. Look yourself in a
mirror and ask, are you the same innocent soul in the purest from?. As time
continued, it morphed you into an unknown person who behaves selfishly and
fearfully. You are disconnected from your true nature. This made you suffer
every moment, every hour and every minute of your life. And this doesn’t end
here, this suffering is contagious, you do painful things because you are in pain.
You hurt other people because you are hurt. You spread disappointment because
you are disappointed and this chain continues.
Indeed a person can only give others what he possesses. Now the
only thing you hold is pain and fear and this is what you are dispensing to
world around.
The question arises why?
What has happened? Why we aren’t that innocent soul anymore? The answer
is that now we are living with the fear in our heart, fear of suffering. Suffering is something that moves us from
certain to uncertain. It can be anything like we suffer when we lost our loved
ones or when we find ourselves unable to achieve any objective as per our
anticipation.
Being human we want to control people, incidents and
situations. We perceive life as a
running horse and make sure hold the reins tightly to assure keeping it on
track. Going slightly of the track and facing new uncertain is suffering to us
because it is against what we anticipated.
In reality this perception is an absolutely false understanding of life.
One cannot anticipate about life exactly so he or she should hold on life goals
and plans with loose grip and should be ready to embrace change.
Suffering has been wrongly perceived by humans. Suffering wants us to leave
the old shores we once clung to. It wants
us to explore the best version of us. It demands to let go old for new and
great but we are afraid to leave the safe shore. We resist traveling towards
new unknown. Fear of unexpected challenges stops us to welcome new big and
better. We forgot that one must be willing to risk greatly for living a greater
life.
Believe that our creator plans perfect. Remember pain and adversity
are powerful tools for personal growth. This kind universe wants to help us its
way. And that way wants us to dare to
leave safe harbors and discover unknown spaces of our life to enjoy our true
selves. It wants us to change and grow. It is kind enough to help us showing
the best version of us. So embrace change and believe in the kindness of
universe. It only wants a new and stronger you. It wants you to explore the
truest version of yourself and know WHO YOU ARE!
Leaving the safe harbor is undoubtedly risky and risks welcomes
fear and uncertainty but it’s the only time when we are truly alive and ourselves.
When we do something big or say something we never said before our
heart beats rapidly, sends butterflies through stomach and this is the time
when we live most.
To get to the pearls, the diver needs to be willing to go deep and
visit the places that the timed soul would never visit.
Take a deep breath. Try to live this moment right now. Do you have
sufferings or pain in the present moment? No! Pain, suffering and fear are the
results of not living in the present moment.
Moment by moment this life is slipping through our fingers and there
will the time when we will be finally leaving this world for the eternal
journey. At that time we might regret for not living the life to its fullest.
We might feel remorse that life would have been amazing, if we would have lived
the life with no fears of future and regrets of past, if we would have enjoyed
the countless blessing that nature has always bestowed upon us. Our lives are trapped in self-woven net of
past and anticipation of future. Our brain unconsciously takes us to this drive
because it’s not trained to show gratitude and live in present moment to
fullest.
Nature sent us as a fearless soul but we adopted fear by the time
from the world around us. This is
because we want to fit in , we want to be known as a reasonable person and be like everyone else
. But we must remember that heroes are revolutionary. All the progress in
mankind life has been made by the people who seem illogical to the world
around. Who refuse to feel, act and think like everyone else. Remember who follow the crowd always play
small.
We are always conscious
about keeping good personal relationship with others which is no doubt a
reasonable act but mostly neglect our relationship with our inner selves.
Keeping others happy is no doubt a good thing but going beyond the personal
wish by neglecting and suffocating oneself on this route, is an evil act. This heart keeps intimating us about what
makes us feel good guides us towards instinct, but we keep strangling and suffocating
the inner voices till the time they faint away gradually. Unfortunately we only
learnt to make mindful decision on the basis of logical and facts. In return
this continuous act gradually transforms us into an unhappy and pessimist
person who often becomes cruel to others, who start expecting and judging
people. Presenting others who we are not and doing things only for with and for
people approval is playing toxic. Life works better if we start listening to
it.
Most of us have a self-created story to share with this world. It’s
the same story that we tell to ourselves.
It says that we are the way we are because of other people, because of
unpleasant events of childhood or because of the cruel behavior and certain
incidents we faced. We are sure that
our own actions don’t have anything to do with solving our problems,
so we fell totally helpless. Many of us love to play as victim
because it is easier. It’s much easier than finding personal lacking and work
upon them. Remember, paying the victim is only like eating bad food that makes a person feel worse in
the long run. Blaming others for
problems in life will never let us work and improve the areas we are lacking.
We should take personal responsibility of the way our life is because this is
the only way to keep power and control of life.
The need for acceptance is a basic human instinct. We all want to fit in, to belong. In
order to achieve that, we often present different versions of who we are. This
society, our parents and education system together has created this psyche among
us. But remember that successful people
never desire to fit in but try to experiment and explore new things they wish
for, the ones who break the tediousness. All progress in this word comes from
unreasonable people, the people who follow their heart and instinct, who take
risk and sometimes get illogical. They
don’t follow the commands of the crowd and that’s what make them standout and
shine. One should not try to fit in like
everyone else but should find the reasons to shine out.. Life is a gift of
nature that has been given once. Let’s grab this chance and feel every moment
of it. let’s connect with heart and gut feeling. Remember heart always tells us the truth and
helps us finding your destiny. Live before you die else-wise one day we will meet
ourselves in the deathbed with mourn and regrets.
